Playhouse Policies
A community commitment
The Playhouse is committed to the safety and security of all who participate in our educational and entertainment offerings. Everyone who might work with children 18 and under must submit to a criminal background check by the Pennsylvania State Police, a Pennsylvania Child Abuse screen and an FBI background check before participating. This screening is the same as required by teachers in our schools. Additionally, it is our policy that any minor child working with an adult must be accompanied either by a parent or be within sight of another adult at all times. All teachers, directors, Board members and others in a supervisory position are mandated reporters for child abuse.
