The Secret Garden, a musical about Mary Lennox, who is sent to live in England after her parents die in India. Misselthwaite Manor turns out to be a gloomy fortress. Her uncle is rarely home and his young son, Colin, never leaves his room - convinced he’s an incurable invalid. Mary discovers a strange walled garden that has been locked up for years. With the gardener’s apprentice, Dickon, a lad who can talk to the animals, Mary coaxes the garden back to life.
In this 1960’s French farce, self-styled Parisian swinging single Bernard is engaged- the only problem is he is engaged to not one, but three women at the same time. All three are “air hostesses” – working for three different airlines and carrying on their romance with Bernard during their layovers in Paris. It all works perfectly on schedule- as one departs, another arrives, until one day when storms and a newer faster airplane throws the schedule out the window, leaving Bernard, his friend Robert and long-suffering maid Bertha to cope with the consequences.
Due to an unhappy curse, King Sextimus is unable to speak. Meanwhile, his terror-of-a-wife, Queen Aggravain, has taken over control of the kingdom. Most importantly, in an attempt to keep Prince Dauntless single, she has decreed that only the princess that can pass her test may marry her son. Further, no one else in the kingdom may marry until Prince Dauntless does. Lady Larken and Sir Harry are extremely disturbed by this fact since they wish to marry. Luckily, Sir Harry is able to find an amazing princess, Winnifred the Woebegone. She instantly catches the attention of Prince Dauntless, will she be able to pass the Queen's supposedly impassable sensitivity test?
Authors Jerome Lawrence and Robert E. Lee wrote a story about the 1925 Scopes “Monkey” Trial that dealt with the debate over evolution versus creationism. The Scopes trial revolves around the conviction of John T. Scopes for teaching Charles Darwin’s theory of evolution in his science class, which was contrary to Tennessee state law at the time.
A Christmas Story is based on the humorous writings of author Jean Shepherd, this play is based on the beloved holiday movie which follows the wintry exploits of youngster Ralphie Parker, who spends most of his time dodging a bully and dreaming of his ideal Christmas gift, a "Red Ryder air rifle."
