Auditions will take place for A Christmas Carol at the Playhouse on Friday, September 22 from 7pm-9pm and Saturday, September 23 from 4pm-9pm. Directed by theatre veterans Cory Wilkerson and Jill Panyard, A Christmas Carol will offer a delightful retreat during the hustle and bustle of the holiday reminding us all of Dickens’s redeeming message. This year’s telling will add Rick Farr’s light and lovely songs to the classic version, creating a play with incidental music.

Auditions for A Charlie Brown will also be held Friday, September 22 from 7pm-9pm and Saturday, September 23 from 4pm-9pm. Those auditioning must be between the ages of 8 and 12. Those auditioning will be asked to read from a script that will be posted to the website by mid-August at auditions, sing a Christmas carol and participate in an improv exercise.

Also directed by Cory Wilkerson and Jill Panyard, this show is almost an exact replica of the annual television show. A Charlie Brown Christmas is a funny, sweet play that brings to life all your favorite Charles Schulz characters that captivate audiences and remind us all about the true meaning of Christmas.
