The Other Woman

Hershey Area Playhouse presents encore production of The Other Woman

Hershey Area Playhouse presented an encore performance of its first original production. The Other Woman was written by local Hershey resident Jennifer Feldser and received the 2004 Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival – Region II Best New Play Award.

The Other Woman isn’t about just one woman; it’s about seven. Okay, eight women and one guy. Seven of these women commit their nights to a telephone dispatch office during the 1940s, answering the calls and listening in on the lives of the people who call into their office. They share their own hearts and humor with one another, while waiting for their husbands to come home from Hitler’s RISK board.

The Other Woman was presented on Thursday, September 25 and Friday, September 26 at 8:00 pm, Saturday, September 27 at 2:00 pm and 8:00 pm, and Sunday, September 28 at 2:00 pm. The proceeds benefited Hershey Area Playhouse and the Ronald McDonald House.
